[mv] interchange 4.6 install not working

Hi

I just tried to install minivend from the /bin/makecat from my initial 
installation directory. The script ran fine and seem to do its job.

When I decide to test the installation all is well on the front page of 
<site>/example, but after clicking on either to enter the admin or customer 
page it seems that the installation script has not installed files in 
<site./cgi-bin/example.

Is there a fix for this and what is it. Or what have I done wrong.
