[ic] Setting cookie expire

Hi:

I am trying to figure out how to set the expiry of a cookie. The docs say
that I need the date in the following format:

Wdy, DD-Mon-YYYY HH:MM:SS GMT

Obviously I’m not going to hard-code this into the page, how can I get the
date in this format, and perhaps add a few months to the current date for a
reasonable cookie expiry date?
