Just install the RPM with "No Dependencies" (Sp?). When you install RPMS, they
don't actually look to see if the software is installed. They check the list of
installed RPMS to see if the RPM for that software is installed. That is how you
can have the CPAN modules, or any software for that matter, installed, but when
you do RPM installs it is not seen.
