[interchange-i18n] Easy ImageDir fallback

I set the following in catalog.cfg:

ImageDir   __IMAGE_DIR__/
Locale es_ES	ImageDir	__IMAGE_DIR__/es_ES/
Locale en_US	ImageDir	__IMAGE_DIR__/

Is there a way to get it to only use the es_ES ImageDir *if* the file
actually exists (otherwise fall back to the default ImageDir)?

If not, what is the preferred method of getting that type of
functionality (without manually copying all the images to each locale)?


If you are wondering why this is useful, it is because many images can
be shared between the two sites, and it would be nice to only translated
images in another directory.
