I tried to set a different locale with [set mv_locale]fi_FI[/set] and with [value name=currlocale set="fi_FI" hide=1], but none seemed to work... Is there any other trick I could try? I'm pretty sure that Interchange is buggy with switching locales. There are a number of reports which describe odd behaviour of Interchange, especially dropping fractional numbers. For one thing, you cannot switch the currency twice on an Interchange page without wreaking havoc. Though I'm really interested in Interchange's i18n features, I fear I cannot do much about it due to limited resources. I'm sorry that I'm not able to give you and others more help in this respect. This if for the archives: The answer is [setlocale fi_FI] to switch the language temporary to an other. By just defining [setlocale] after the desired locale-change will restore the original locale. Here is a small example: Original locale [setlocale fi_FI] this part of the page is uses the locale fi_FI [setlocale] Here we return to the original locale Regards, Rene From chen at lilux.co.il Wed Jan 29 09:00:02 2003 From: chen at lilux.co.il (Chen Naor) Date: Wed Jan 29 09:00:02 2003 Subject: [interchange-i18n] Update for the Hebrew locale for IC 4.9 UI + wraping problem Message-ID: <020c01c2c79f$9720ec80$1400a8c0@lilux.co.il> Hello All, Attached is a new and improve Hebrew translation for the IC4.9 UI. Stefan, If you can add the new file to the next release it will be great. The encoding/decoding of low characters is not working (as before), I will try to send the new diffs as fast as I can. There is an issue of text being wrap in the main menu of the admin - it is happening in many languages. It can be solved by adding nowrap in these placers:(IC 4.9.6 from RPM) /usr/lib/intechange/lib/UI/vars/UI_STD_HEAD line 296: {NAME}    ---------- The only problem that it wraps the Japanese locale so the kanji appearing from left to right instead of from top to bottom, if it OK so I think it should be add to the General code.
