Situation:
- I installed Interchange on a Linux Mandrake 7.0 test server with the =
newest installation of MySQL, Perl, and Apache.=20
- Once I got all those progs fired up and working I moved to =
Interchange.=20
- Everything seemed to install correctly.=20
- I ran 'makecat' and created the "construct" demo catalog=20
- When I link to the http://130.127.29.190/html/construct/ it shows that =
those links to "Enter as customer" and "Admin interface" obviously do =
not exist on the server. =20
-Why would this be? The installation seemed to run without any =
problems. =20
-Also, http://130.127.29.190/cgi-bin/construct returns nothing as if it =
wasn't even there. I changed the permissions so that they are =
definitely executable. And I am absolutely positive they are there. =20
-When I start the Interchange Server it starts running into probs here:

"Configuring catalog construct...Using MySQL, =
DSN=3Ddbi:mysql:test_construct.
construct config erre:DBI connect failed: Can't connect to local mysql =
server (111)"

-Does this mean anything to anyone?? How would I fix this particular =
problem.=20
-Also, does this sound like it could be an Interchange on NFS mounted =
file system problem?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

-Evan
