[ic] problems with MySQL

I need PHP for other functions.  Yes, MySQL is up and running, I query it
often...  When ic setup the catalog, it was able to make the table corretly,
so I don't think it is a user/pass issue.  Any other ideas?

Well, first at all, you don't need PHP... anyway.

Do you have properly instaled the correct DBD Driver for mysql?
It is running the mysql daemon?
