Hi Jeff,
You would be more likely to get a response if you post a message with a new
topic for your issue. I doubt you're using Debian installation files on your
RedHat box... :)
Your problem is likely to be broken, or lack of installed, DBI/DBD database
connectors for Perl to communicate with MySQL. Also, is the MySQL daemon
running? Did you receive any errors when you ran makecat and were asked to
create a database with mysqladmin?
