If your getting items without sku's in your search results, this is not 
normal behavior and you should focus on finding and correcting the source 
of this problem, rather than trying to re-engineer Interchange to 
accommodate it. I would start by assuming corrupted data, and inspect the 
products db and the associated source text file: look for blank lines, 
truncated records, etc.
