It has been shown to me that different distributions of Linux install Perl
in different places. You can usually correct this by simply putting in some
symlinks.
Normally, by looking at the first line of the script you can see where the
script is looking for Perl and you can put a symlink in that location. That's much
easier than trying to have a fight with the computer about it.
