I forgot a colon in log_transaction; so I'm not really stupid, just very 
careless ;-)  Sorry for wasting everybody's time...

Any chance somebody could point me in the direction of the file I now need to 
edit in order to make my new field appear in the "Order" page of the admin 
interface?

Interchange is like a cave; large, cold, wet and currently very dark (for 
me)...
