Can someone help me understand whats wrong here. The error.log says that it
cant connect to the socket..
I have two catalogs one using the standard interchange DB and another one
i'm trying to put up using MySQL. All aspects of the catalog using the
standard db works fine. The MySQL one I can't get to startup.

Using MySQL 3.23.30 and Perl 5.6. DBD and DBI installed.

The Perms. on var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock is :

[root@ecom interchange]# ls -als /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock
   0 srwxrwxrwx 1 mysql mysql 0 Jan 6 17:38
/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock
