I'm working on unique usernames. My last approach in the form check is:

[set new_account]
&and
email=email [L]Keine g&uuml;ltige Emailadresse[/L]
&and
email=unique userdb [L]Emailadresse bereits vorhanden[/L]
...
[/set]

The second error message is not working yet. A patch is waiting
on my disk. Please note that this works only with
Interchange 4.7.x
