FW: [ic] installation problems on Solaris 8

When I try to install Mysql on Solaris 8 I get the error.

bash-2.03# scripts/mysql_install_db
bash-2.03# chown -R mysql /usr/local/mysql
bash-2.03# chgrp -R mysql /usr/local/mysql
bash-2.03# bin/safe_mysqld --user-mysql &
[1] 3291
bash-2.03# Starting mysqld daemon with databases from
/usr/local/mysql-3.23.39-pc-solaris2.8-i386/data
Segmentation Fault - core dumped
010627 13:06:32  mysqld ended

is there something that Iam missing???
