[IC] How can I make subcategories ?

Thre are several ways to accomplish this. I my self made one table called
catergory_tbl
cat_id
cat_name
cat_date

second table
subcategory_tbl
subcat_id
cat_id
subcat_name
subcat_date

I added the following fields to the Products table
category
subcategory

now all these id fields are numbers. Which should speed searches up.

Now since I got away from the cat and area. I generate my category list and
subcategory list with [perl]query code here [/perl]

That is how I handle it. I am sure someone has another way of accomplishing
this.
