[ic] SecureURL & VendorURL cause two different IDs/carts !?

Fine here, too - IE 5.5 and Mozilla 0.9.8.  Slower than molasses in winter 
though; if that is the best that webserver can do, I think the real problem 
will become apparent as soon as customers start hitting the site...
