I have done this. Not the easiest thing to do in real time, for you
are requiring dependability from the fullfillment process as well
as the payment provider. Also, what happens if payment is done
but fullfillment cannot be done?

Usually it is better to disconnect this with a subsequent email
confirming the order and delivery to the user.

I think as good as with any DB, which is pretty good.

Certainly, but there is no import order functionality in place.
That would normally only be required for a CRM / accounting system,
and Interchange doesn't pretend to be either of those.
