This is another one of those things that needs to go on the list to find
some documentation for on the Admin UI.

This ranks right up there with specifying a page in the 'area' section in
'design'. I get the feeling that it is somehow possible to use this so that
when you go to another page that things expand in the left column for that page
for more options.
(This is a clumsy description but I won't waste bandwidth with a deeper
explanation unless asked.)

Aaahh! You've found the secret! I continually fail to understand why people
with screw around with all of these difficult installation problems when
they can install Linux and install IC and be ready to start selling within a
couple of hours - and, it's all FREE!

I use Slackware Linux which doesn't provide very much hand holding and the
little bit of the GUI that I have explored is weak. I just set it to install
everything and go get a beer. When I come back, it's all installed and ready
to reboot (after answering a couple of questions).

For me, the hardest part about installing IC is the paths and URL's that it
wants me to put in. They are very confusing, but that goes quickly.

Linux is not the question, Linux is the answer!
