[ic] image upload problem

I have created a new field in the database to store
uploaded image file.  I configure the web form to
multipart type, and set the meta to file_upload.

After submitting the upload form, the file is
correctly uploaded to a specific directory, but the
problem is, the image file content is stored in the
field as unreadable binary instead of the filename.

do you guys have any idea?
