ok, there wasn't one in there so I went ahead and created it, it says

SHIP_DEFAULT_MODE for the variable name
01
Shipping

so now I go into Administration/Shipping and as a new method and I call it
01.. calculate by weight, when I press next button, it doesn't allow me
to fill in any of the other fields by formula.
