[ic] is the "ord" folder necessary?

I was hoping to take the basket.html and checkout.html files out of the 
"ord" folder and have them sit with all the others in the pages folder.  Is 
there a reason that those files are separated into the ord folder?  Maybe 
security or something?  Would it be OK to take them out of there and change 
the links to them?  Thanks!
