I was surprised to find the same thing in one of our dual-cpu production
boxes, but not on any of the single cpu boxes:

[Tue Jan 15 23:42:44 2002] [notice] child pid 15951 exit signal
Segmentation fault (11)
[Tue Mar 5 13:56:45 2002] [notice] child pid 30442 exit signal
Segmentation fault (11)
[Tue Apr 2 13:27:28 2002] [notice] child pid 23420 exit signal
Segmentation fault (11)
[Sun Apr 14 14:26:17 2002] [notice] child pid 13956 exit signal
Segmentation fault (11)
[Tue Apr 30 07:51:21 2002] [notice] child pid 4542 exit signal Segmentation
fault (11)

My observations are the same. Would anyone else care to pipe in with some
data from their error_log?
