[ic] interchange setup - apache virtual hosts

Hi,
am I missing something?
I can't seem to get my interchange 4.8.6-1 setup working. I have followed
the instructions but don't see how it could work as the ./makecat install
script does not modify my apache.conf so how can it know about the name
virtual host I would like to use? I set it up again this time adding the
name virtual host myself but still no joy. Is this related to the fact that
interchange runs as its own server daemon? - what do I have to do to use my
name virtual host and get ic working?
