What is Linux 8.0?  Redhat linux 8.0?  I've got one of those systems
running my my home office but I'm not sure the results I've had... to
the best of my knowledge it should work well.  If you want a solid
alternative, I can vouch that Slackware 8.1 is great and runs
interchange wonderfully. =20

What kind of errors are you getting?  the /root/.cpan/ directory is
where it downloads them to decompress and do its make and make install
junk. =20

find out which packages don't install and you may have to do it
manually.  That way you can track your errors better. =20
