[ic] we're sorry page and undefined catalog

Nick and everyone else,

I have also just installed Interchange on a freshly installed RedHat 7.3
box. As I am just trying to use it for a development machine I have not
bothered with Apache/SSL, just Apache. I am experiencing the same problem.

I have installed Interchange from the 4.8.6-1 RPM available at
www.icdevgroup.org.

Lets hope there is a solution out there somewhere.

Regards

Michael Lambert

Subject: [ic] we're sorry page and undefined catalog

Hey Everyone-

I'm going nuts. I've started over with my Redhat7 box due to a weekend
of security breaches, and I'm trying to get interchange back up and running.
Luckily everything was backed up, and I've got Apache/SSL all running
smoothly.

However, after I create a catalog with bin/makecat, I'm getting the
"we're sorry, interchange server is busy/not available' page, and the
interchange error.log is reading that my catalog is undefined. However, the
catalog entry in interchange.cfg is correct (checked many times due to the
the
frequency of this problem and its correlation with the amount of mailing
list
emails about it in the history of this group). In httpd.conf, I've messed
around with ScriptAlias stuff to no avail. The mysql databases all create
themselves correctly and work fine. Permissions are all set so the
interchange
user 'interch' has complete r/w access over everything.

Does anyone have ANY ideas as to how to solve this problem?

Thanks very much,
Nick
