Your arithmetic is correct. 79 + 5 = 84, which is greater than the
82 limit set for the row, hence the "columns too wide" error message.
Either increase the [row] limit, or reduce the space taken by the
[column] tags.
It's a good idea to keep the row size to 80 characters or less,
depending upon whether you expect people to quote the generated text
in followup emails.
