I'm sure this must be a common problem, but I couldn't find anything relevant
in the archives:

It seems that Google (and probably other search engines) are refusing to index
my site, as the Interchange pages look like they are in a directory whose
name contains a dot, eg.

http://www.smssat.biz/sms.ic/index.html

The .ic extension tells apache to process it as a cgi-script (outside of
CGI-wrap). I tried changing the AddHandler to -ic but it didn't seem to work
(it just spews garbage), unless I am forgetting something else I need to
change?

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Cheers,

Jon
