[ic] Question about Upgrading to interchange 4.8.7

Hi and thank you for your support,

question: how do I upgrade my existing interchange 4. to 4.8.7
without loosing my existing data. Is there and easy way or command
I can issue that will upgrade it seamless installing in the same
directory etc... I am using Linux red hat 6.1
