[ic] Intermittent error

Ok, I found the problem but i bet it is on the list already. O 
well, Perl v5.8 has the problem not Perl v5.6.1. I did a top 
and when more than one interchange process was running the 
error came up. Thats all i know for now.
Also, IC seens to run faster on perl v5.6.1, maybe it is the 
set up of my machines.
