[ic] Item Options Page not working in Admin

Hello,

I have upgraded v4.9.8 running on Redhat linux 7.2 and I am having a
problem with the Item Options Page in the admin tool.  The new store I
created with the foundation template does not allow me to add options.
When you select the options type it bounces back to the same page, instead
of carrying on to the normal option creation pages.  This is not occurring
with stores pre-existing stores which are running on the new 4.9.8 version.
Any ideas what may causing this?
