You could choose another component for e.g. your results page. In
this case results_grid. The layout of this component is based on a
template. It has a built-in template that will be used by default if the
user doesn't supply it's own.

Have a look at the code of component results_grid first for information
on fields that can be used. Then create another results page and
select the results_grid component. Supply your own template by
pasting it in the textarea 'Template' of the component and way you go.
