[ic] UK locale configuration

I've been playing with IC for about a week now and am slowly getting to
grips with customisation! However I am still having problems adapting it to
a UK configuration.

I have been through the mailing list archives and followed a number of
suggestions (particularly http://www.webmaint.net/interchange/uksetup.html),
but although I seem to have got the customer side mostly working (it shows
prices in £ (GBP)) I can't seem to get the locale correct on the admin
interface - the currency is still in $ (USD) and the image paths use the
en_US locale instead of en_GB (contrarary to the document above).

My setup is RH7.2 + IC4.8.7 (rpm install + CPAN for perl modules), but I've
tried 4.9.6 as well with the same results. I'm using the standard foundation
demo generated with makecat, and have added en_GB (and eur_EUR) to the
catalog products/locale.txt and added "Locale en_GB" to catalog.cfg (I've
tried leaving the existing en_US locale setting in and commenting it out).

This gets the customer interface working correctly, but not the admin
interface. The nearest I have got to getting the admin interface localised
is to change the Locale settings in /usr/lib/interchange/lib/UI/ui.cfg from
en_US to en_GB. This seems to fix the currency problem in the admin
interface but not the image paths.

Am I missing something fairly basic here? Should I need to change the locale
settings in more than one place? Where is the locale obtained for setting
the image paths in the admin interface (/interchange/en_US/iclogo.gif)? Am I
ok and just worrying over nothing!?

Any help/comments appreciated.
