[ic] Selective display of item-options within [item-options] tag

I just upgraded my site from 4.8.x to 4.9.7-200305270658.  
I notice that the ability to selectively display item 
options with [item-options inventory="inventory:quantity"]
seems to have been removed from Interchange.

Mike Heins created inv_func in Interpolate.pm to enable
the feature.

Question:  Does anyone know how to selectively display 
item options with the [item-options] tag based on
the invetnory::quantity field? (or preferably any field)
