Interesting coincidence: iTransact, whom I and some of my clients use, has 
also been suffering from ongoing DDOS attacks over the past week (according 
to their support dept). Makes me wonder if some hacker force out there is 
making a concerted effort to break into processing gateways to steal credit 
card info...
