I am also using instantssl.com, and selecting the pro option if I
want the "seal of approval" thing. Though you do have to install
an intermediary CA, that is one config line and I have had no complaints
after thousands of orders. I think it will work with everything shy
of Netscape 4.x....

I am really glad to see Verisign getting its comeuppance; they are by
far the worst network citizen company I know, with their spamming, DNS
highjacking, and deceptive advertising. The people I know are fleeing
them in droves; I have moved hundreds of domains and scores of certs 
and payment systems off of them in the past couple of years.
