[ic] Can't upload a product image

Hi everyone,

I just installed the latest 5.0. I'm using postgres as my database.

Everything so far is working perfectly... expect no matter what I do I 
am not able to upload any images for my products. When I try the backend 
seems to think the image is there (it shows the filename I uploaded). If 
I edit the product and click on the images tag I get a Not Found from 
Apache2. I look in the path on my server where the images should be 
images/item/... and no file has been uploaded. I should mention that 
these files are jpegs.

I've looked in the Apache error log and find no error others than the 
image doesn't exist.

Has anyone seen this problem? Any advice?
