This shouldn't be a problem - I moved a catalog from IC4.9.7 on Apache 
1.3 to IC5.0 on Apache 2.0 without any apparant problems (only dev box 
thought)

I explicitly set it to a blank value - not sure whether that matters.

Hmm - you could try using FullURL to see if it fixes it. I know there's 
a reason why I have all those aliases, I just can't remember what it is ;)
