Hmmm, not sure why that would be the case, but then again I don't know what 
you did in an attempt to 'adjust the look' of the menu. You might try 
manually deleting all records from the cat and area tables, which are what 
are scanned to created the menu, so that you are starting clean. Then try 
the auto-populate one more time before you call in a consultant.
