[ic] Trouble using makesize and image name

I know I'm doing something wrong, but please help me figure the fix out:)

I need to assign a name to an image "mainimage" and the square
brackets are stripping out the "name=mainimage"


[image src="image_large/[item-field image_large]" makesize="150x150"
alt="[item-filter entities][item-description][/item-filter]"
title="[item-filter entities][item-description][/item-filter]"
border="0" name="mainimage"]


<image scr="........name=mainimage> works, but disables the "makesize"
feature for imagemagick.

I even understand the conflict :)  but not how to work around it.
