You should at least see a message in the catalog's logfile like
that:

- - - [24/August/2004:18:45:58 +0200] invest www.uptop.exp Run jobs group=history

And if the job is finished:

none - - [24/August/2004:18:48:32 +0200] invest www.uptop.exp Finished jobs group=history

If you see only see the first message, the job ran out of time. You can increase the
timeout for jobs with the following directive:

Jobs MaxLifetime 3000
