[ic] Running in the foreground

Hi All,

How difficult is it to modify Interchange to run in the foreground
instead of forking?

I wanted to try running it under a service supervision program like
daemontools or runit, but they require that the supervised service runs
in the foreground so they can monitor it.

I noticed there is a DEBUG mode that doesn't fork, so I assume it's
possible, but I'd like to know if there are any problems when running in
this manner.
