Me too, but I have never associated it with a particular traffic mode.  We 
run in RPC mode and get a few double charges each week.  I believe this 
tends to happen when our PSP is responding slowly to payment authorisation 
requests, or perhaps when our server is under load.  Consequently, I have 
assumed that customers click the back button on the browser just before the 
"Thank you for your order" page appears and then just assume that their 
order wasn't processed and so place a second order.

However, I also have strong suspicions that it relates to the Net::SSLeay 
problems that Mike Heins refers to (see my previous post in this thread), 
whereby customers are receiving an error message when trying to place their 
order, even though the PSP has in fact authorised and processed their 
payment.  Indeed, we have had several customers tell us that they did indeed 
receive an error message the first time they tried to place their order, 
hence the reason they placed it again...
