Are you referring to the first splash page you see with links to go to
the customer or admin area or are you referring to the home page?

As much as it pains me to say it, I think you will find things very
difficult without a grounding in Perl.  That said, People here will be
very helpful and do what we can to answer your questions and you
wouldn't be the first one to set up an Interchange site with no perl
knowledge.
