I cannot see this happening unless you have some compiled subroutine
that is in the catalog.cfg tree instead of interchange.cfg. Even
then, that should not happen unless that routine is calling a global
variable.

I would look to see what UserTag and Sub definitions you have there,
and look at moving those to the global interchange.cfg area.
