Hey David,

The number does not have to be stored on your server if you don't want
to, so there's no problem with using AIM.

In fact, even in default setup it is not stored on the server - it is
just passed from the form input onto Autorize.net gateway, and during
that process it is handled securely and not kept in memory for longer
than needed.
