[ic] Running with old signals

Hi,

when I start the Interchange server I allways get
the following info:

The Interchange server was not running (/usr/local/interchange/etc/ 
interchange.pid).
Sending debug messages to debug.log.
Low traffic settings.
Calling UI......UI is loaded...
Interchange V5.6.1
Running with old signals.
Configuring catalog kabelkauf_de_local...Using MySQL,  
DSN=dbi:mysql:test_kabelkauf_de_local...done.
Interchange server started in INET and UNIX mode(s) (process id 559)


But what does the line: Running with old signals mean?
