[ic] 5.7.2: /catalogs is evil

Hi,

I'm playing around with a brand-new 5.7.2, and it creates /catalogs
right there in the root of the file system. This breaks all FHS and
other standards or conventions that I am aware of. I'd like to see a
sane default value for this setting, like one of

/var/lib/catalogs (Linux only?)
/usr/local/share/catalogs
/usr/local/libdata/catalogs
/srv/interchange/catalogs (Linux only?)
/home/interchange/catalogs

Please...


OT: I tried to create a ticket with RT first, but only got:

"Queue could not be loaded." I take this to mean that ticket creation
was unsuccessful.
