[ic] Default for [unpack]?

Is there a way to set a default inclusion rule for the [unpack] tag?  
Something like....

AutoEnd  <<EOA
[unpack]
[include file="layout/[either][scratch display_class][or]3col[/either]"]
[/unpack]
EOA

This of course does not work, but it sure would be nice to get rid of 
all those redundant calls to the [unpack] tag in the html pages.
