[ic] query tag docs for Interchange 4.8.7

Can anyone point me to the query tag documentation for interchange 4.8.7? I'd like to be able to access a count of the rows returned for a query without having to have an additional row_count query. In more recent versions, the [matches] and [match_count] tags look exactly like what I'm after.
