Just to follow up, I did end up figuring out I needed to add the NoSearch
directive to my search pages.

[calc]
	    $CGI->{mv_todo} = 'search';
	    $Config->{NoSearch} = '';
[/calc]

I have used this before but my example did not utilize it.
